Tobias Heider started at Optoprim Germany in February 2017. Since 2020 he works as Senor Sales Manager and is responsible for the fields Science & Analytics and OEM & Components. Prior to Optoprim he studied physics at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. His focus was on photonics, ultrafast lasers and nonlinear optics and their applications.

He was born in 1990 and holds a Master of Science degree.

Christian Schröter has started his career at Optoprim Germany in December 2015. The main reasons for his approach was the development of the Customer Service on the operative and strategic base, but also his character in the technical sales. Mr. Schröter worked for Rofin-Baasel Lasertech before he has joined Optoprim. First, he was working as commissioning technician of laser welding systems and switched after two and a half years into the worldwide service for marking, welding and cutting laser systems. Additional to that, he was performing trainings for international customers and worldwide colleagues of Rofin for different types of laser systems.


Mr. Schröter is born 1989 and a skilled electrician of equipment and systems with an early finished degree as industrial engineer.



Nicholas Harrop joined Optoprim in September 2021 as a technical sales engineer with a focus for industrial applications. After his university degree, Mr. Harrop worked in sales for diode laser components at DILAS Diodenlaser GmbH and in sales for laser measurement equipment at Primes GmbH and Coherent Inc., where he latterly worked as a product line manager for diode laser components. In addition, his work at Ingenieurbuero Goebel GmbH has given him an in-depth knowledge in the field of laser safety. Through his work, Mr. Harrop has access to a global network of customers and colleagues from a wide range of laser applications.

Mr. Harrop was born in 1983 and has a Bachelor’s degree in Optical Technology and Digital Image Processing.



Gerti Zopf is on board since March 2013, respectively day 1 of Optoprim Germany GmbH. She is responsible for order processing, accounting, finance, trade shows and general administration tasks. Professional background: Financial advisor, sales support in the laser industry and in the automotive industry. 




Julia Walla supports the Optoprim Germany GmbH since November 2017 in order processing and office management. She has more than 10 years of eperience in sales and and several years as an assistant. She started her career with an apprenticeship to become a sales person and after that finished her education as a certified business administrator.
