Ondax manufactures optical filters with edges that are 10 times steeper than the so called razorsharp edges of the best dielectric raman filters. Ondax also integrates the volume holographic filters into diode laser in order to stabilize the wavelength narrowing the linewidth to typically <100MHz. Using these filters measurements of raman scattering can be performed enabling the precise characterization of chemical components.

All THz-Raman products are extremely compact and can be easily fiber-connected to nearly every spectrometer or Raman system. The patented ultra-narrow filters block precisely the Rayleigh excitation with >OD8 and thus enable the simultaneous acquisition of Stokes and anti-Stokes signals. A powerful, wavelength-stabilized ASE-free single frequency laser source is exactly matched to the filter providing a strong Raman signal and an extraordinary damping of the excitation frequency.
